Invermere Launch Rentals
Explore the wetlands at your own pace, paddle in a stable, recreation canoe, kayak, paddleboard or hydrobike.
Beaver lodges, bald eagles' nest, western painted turtles may all be seen!
Rent for 1 hour*, 2 hours, 4 hours or a full day.
Leave from and return to our Invermere Launch location.
2 hour, 4 hour, full day rentals of canoe, kayaks, paddleboards and hydrobikes!
One hour rentals are available starting at 2pm.
- Water and a snack
- Rain gear if forecasted
- Layers/change of clothes
- Hat and sunscreen
- Camera
- Binoculars
- Footwear that might get a little wet or dirty
- Basic dry land paddling tips
- Throw bag & bailing bucket
- Personal Flotation Device (PFD) equiped with safety whistle
- Paddle(s)
- Safety/Trip talk
Maximum 3 adults in a canoe or 2 adults and 2 children
No transportation included - Invermere Launch rentals do NOT include return transport from Radium, for self-guided Invermere to Radium paddles please book here

Dry bags are available to borrow (deposit required) or purchase at check-in to keep your valuables dry
A signed waiver of liability is required prior to renting. Parent to sign for minors (<19).
Minors may not rent unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
One hour rentals are available at Kinsmen Beach or at the Invermere Launch after 2pm (first come, first served).
Our cancellation deadlines are applied to enable us to schedule guides, staff and equipment.Subject to availability, changing the date and/or time of your booking does not incur any fees.
CANOE, KAYAK, SUP, HYDROBIKE RENTALS have a 48 hour cancellation policy. To receive a refund, less a $5 cancellation fee, email paddle@ColumbiaRiverPaddle.com a minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of your booking. No refunds or reschedules for no shows. Bookings within 48 hours are final payments.
We reserve the right to cancel any program with less than 24 hours notice due to changing weather conditions such as strong winds or thunderstorms. Please check your email for cancellation notices before leaving for your program. In this case, we will try to re-schedule to another date or offer a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but your safety and well-being on the water is our top priority.
Please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse service in the following circumstances with no refund:
- Participants are found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Inappropriate behavior/language to staff or other guests
